What the price includes
The inspection price includes the full vehicle check, covering key components such as brakes, suspension, lights, steering, and emissions. It also includes the issuance of the inspection report and, in case of a successful inspection, the official sticker. In some cases, additional services such as reminders for the next inspection may be included. Understanding what is included helps avoid misunderstandings or extra charges.
Government fees
Government fees apply when the inspection is overdue and are defined by law. If the inspection is completed on time or within 7 days after expiration, no extra fee is charged. For delays up to 1 month, the fee is around €16, from 1 to 6 months €33, and over 6 months €65. These fees are added to the inspection cost and are mandatory. Through ekteo.gr, the fee is automatically calculated so you know the total cost in advance.
Payment methods
Payment methods at KTEO include cash, debit card, and credit card payments. In some cases, electronic payment options may also be available. Payment is usually made on-site after the inspection is completed. ekteo.gr operates as a booking platform and does not require payment during booking, allowing you to choose your preferred inspection center and pay directly there using your preferred method.
