Denmark
According to current legislation, when registering used passenger vehicles in Greece that were previously registered in Denmark, a mandatory check is performed to verify the mileage. 1. How is the check performed? The verification is conducted through the official electronic application of the Danish Transport Authority (Færdselsstyrelsen) . The search can be performed in two ways: By entering the Registration Number (Indtast registreringsnummer). By entering the Chassis Number/VIN (Indtast stelnummer) using English capital letters. 2. What information is provided? The application displays vehicle details and a table containing the last 10 inspection reports , which include: The inspection dates ( Dato ). The inspection result ( Resultat ), where " GOD " indicates a successful check. The mileage recorded at each inspection date ( km-stand ). The registration number ( Reg.nr . ). 3. What happens in case of tampering? If a discrepancy is found between the mileage listed on the physical Danish Technical Inspection Certificate and the data found in the electronic application: The vehicle cannot be registered . The certificate is marked with the observation: "THE VEHICLE SHALL NOT BE REGISTERED DUE TO TAMPERING OF THE MILEAGE NUMBER" . The document will also receive the official stamp of the Service and the signature of the competent officer. 4. Useful Note on Documentation If the mileage on the Danish Technical Inspection Certificate matches the electronic records, the certificate may be submitted as a photocopy . In this case, the submission of the original or a certified copy is not required.
